Bear Den Course

This beautiful opening hole presents a difficult tee shot, and sets the tone for the rest of the round.  Avoid the trees left and the hazard along the right side to set up a birdie opportunity.  Don’t lose your approach shot right of the green; left and short is safer here.

The dogleg left requires that your tee shot finds the fairway.  Don’t be deceived by the shortness of this hole, it demands two well-placed shots and does not forgive any wayward ones.

Avoid the bunker on the left side of the fairway off the tee.  Any approach shot that lands right of the green will find itself in the hazard.  This hole will challenge all levels of players.

After taking in the view of Bear Den Mountain, try to avoid the many bunkers surrounding the green on this picturesque par 3.

This wonderfully designed and demanding par 5 requires three good shots to find the putting surface in regulation.  Avoid leaving your tee-shot to the right, as the fairway bends gently to the left.

A well-placed tee shot is critical on this hole; go too far left and you’ll be blocked by trees, go too far right and you'll be in them!  An approach that misses the green to the left by even the smallest margin will roll into a collection area, leaving a tough up and down.

Position your tee shot down the left side to avoid the trees on the right.  You must also avoid the hazard that splits the fairway and runs along the right side of the green and fairway approach to shoot a good score on this par 5.

This relatively short par 3 provides a breather and a good chance to make a par or birdie.  But don’t be greedy; miss the green here and you will be challenged.

A well-hit tee shot that manages to avoid the bunker on the right will reach the down slope and provide much needed extra yards on this long par 4.  Beware of the collection area on the left side of the green.

The crossing hazard is in play from the tee for the longer hitters on this par 5.  Shorter hitters should take it down the left side to set up the best angle in.  Avoid all the hazards on this hole and you will have a good chance at par or better.

On this challenging tee shot, you need to avoid the fairway bunker on the left in order to have a reasonable second shot.  Take an extra club on the deceptively-uphill approach.

Avoid the two fairway bunkers guarding the landing area and you will be left with just a short iron or wedge to a receptive green.

This par 3 features a large green that offers many different pin positions.  A tee shot that comes to rest on the green does not guarantee you a par.

This dogleg right provides challenges on both the tee shot and the approach shot.  Avoid the trees from the tee and the creek fronting the green on the approach and par or better is within your grasp.

This picturesque par 5 hides nothing; all the hazards that need o be navigated are right there in front of you.  Avoid the creek on the left side; as well as the bunker on the right off the tee and you’ll be off to a solid start.

This relatively short par 4 requires a straight tee shot threaded through the trees.  On your approach, watch out for the green’s false front.

This well-guarded par 3 features a classic design.  Choose your flight plan carefully as any miss here will be severely punished.

This wonderful finishing hole challenges players of all skills levels.  Two strong shots are required to get home in regulation.
